Yeast Infection Symptom
Elsewhere we have discussed the causes of yeast troubles, but what are the symptoms? Here's a list of the common yeast infection symptoms to help you figure out if what you have is a yeast problem or something else.
* Vaginal discharge around the entrance to the vagina or inside it. The non-smelly discharge is typically white in color and it might remind you of cottage cheese.
* Vaginal itch. A yeast infection is the result of an imbalance of the natural flora of the vagina. The excessive yeast may block production of normal secretions which keep your vagina moist. Your vagina or vulva may become itchy and dry as a result.
* Burning sensation during urination. This can be very painful.
* Painful sexual intercourse: When yeast cells coat the walls of the vagina, the entry of foreign bodies into the vagina causes pain.
A word of caution, however. Any of these symptoms may indicate a different problem rather than a yeast infection so do check with a doctor for confirmation.
