As you have stated the açaí berry is rich in vitamins and nutrients and has powerful antioxidants, no one refutes that. My question was can it help me lose weight? The answer is yes. Acai helped boost my energy level and aided me in digestion. This helped me keep up an exercise program which in conjunction with a low fat diet did help me lose 15 pounds. I am not sure if the Acai was instrumental but it was helpful. I just know the energy boost was essential and I definitely felt it boost my immune system as I was no longer getting sick as frequently.
